E=MC˛ NOW OFFERS DESTINATION MANAGEMENT, CONFERENCE SERVICES AND INCENTIVE TRAVEL
Calgary, February 4, 2004 - An award winning Calgary event management company, e=mc2 event management, has announced it is expanding its services to include destination management, conference services and incentive travel.
The company is expanding its services because of a growing demand from its clients to offer seamless event/program management whether it is the production on stage, the registering of delegates or taking the board of directors off golfing before the convention starts.
Ken Christopherson, president of e=mc2 event management, in announcing the new services said Erin O'Reilly, a well known and highly experienced destination management specialist, will be responsible for the company's new services. "We're thrilled to have Erin as part of our team," he said.
"We want to provide our clients with everything, everywhere. By combining Erin's talents with our experienced team of event producers, we can offer a complete management package from greeting delegates to organizing annual meetings," he said.
Erin O'Reilly has 12 years of experience in destination management throughout Western Canada focusing on the incentive travel and resort locations. Erin has already sparked a strong interest from corporations seeking to capitalize on her experience. She has just returned from Palm Springs, where she led a group of businessmen through a golf incentive program. Next month, Erin will be handling arrangements for a 1500 delegate convention and developing Stampede programs for clients.
Started three years ago, e=mc2 event management, owned by Ken Christopherson and Jocelyn Flanagan is now producing some of the largest corporate events in Calgary for an impressive list of clients (EnCana, Husky, EDS) as well as associations like the Canadian Produce Marketing Association meeting. The company now has four full time producers and a support team.
In January, e=mc2 event management won a GALA award from Special Events magazine. The international award is considered the 'Oscar' of the special events world. Last year, the company won three 'Star' awards given by the Canadian Events Industry and a 'WESTIE' award from the International Special Events Society.
