Stratford University has named Alice Conway, CSEP, as the Director of their new Graduate Certificate Program in Event Management.
Ms. Conway is the founder and past president of The Greater Washington Chapter of International Special Events Society (ISES) and former president of ISEF, the educational foundation of ISES. She has served on the International Board of Directors of ISES, has taught and lectured internationally and is president of a special events management company, BB&C Productions, Inc., producing events for national as well as international clients. Alice is currently pursuing her doctorate in Higher Education Administration at George Washington University where she previously served as Director of their Event Management Certificate Program.
At Stratford, students may take individual classes in Event Management or complete seven to attain a graduate certificate. Additional requirements include the completion of a comprehensive exam, 200 hours of observation and practicum, and a professional portfolio. All Event Management courses are $495 per class. Corporate and group discounts are available and Sallie Mae financing is available for those who qualify.
