MVKA Productions just wrapped the exciting and much anticipated launch of the BMW 6 Series at The BMW Store in Vancouver, BC. At 5:00 pm on March 26, the doors opened, revealing a complete transformation from daytime dealership to an elegant evening experience. Throughout the evening, nearly 500 invited guests came to witness and be a part of this exciting unveiling, which also marked the dealership's name change from Vancouver Auto Ltd., to The BMW Store.
Outside, there was valet parking, a red carpet and protective tenting which contained one of the featured coupes. In the main showroom, three of four walls were covered in floor-to-ceiling projection screens, which projected vibrant and vivid European sea and landscape images. Guests were surrounded by old English countrysides and radiant sunsets as they mingled and enjoyed the event. The back wall was draped in blue star cloth, creating a calm, starry night and backdrop for the 6 series cabriolet. All décor items were from MVKA Productions' rental inventory, which can be viewed on their online catalogue through the website.
Reminiscent of a celebrity-lined red carpet, "paparazzi" were in position for the 6 Series reveal, ready to snap away for the unveiling. Creating buzz and excitement, this was followed by one of two fashion shows, showcasing designer high-end outfits for men and women. The models walked down the catwalk, interacting with the freshly unveiled coupe, which stood at the base of the runway.
Exquisite catering was provided by a local high-end catering company, and included an amazing seafood buffet, as well as a variety of hot and cold hors d'oeuvres. The buffet was found in the secondary showroom, which also featured the 6 Series coupe, and a bar. After hours of fun and excitement, this Friday evening launch wound down around 10:00pm, and the dealership began its transformation back to its daytime look for Saturday morning's clients.
