Every once in a while employees need to get away from the office and do something they can actually touch, handle and sink their teeth into - like FOOD.
Culinary co-operation is not only fun and delicious, but getting together as a team to cook your own lunch is a true team building experience that can help you achieve your corporate missions and goals.
Employees from accenture Inc. spent the morning on business, then broke away in teams to test their cooking skills and make their own lunch. The cooking experience collectively helped the group unwind and fostered a new sense of "togetherness". It also broke down the traditional business hierarchy as different levels of management worked jointly in teams, each preparing a specific portion of the dishes to be served. Time management and co-operation became added ingredients to this successful event as the teams worked against the clock to ensure that everything was ready on time.
STIR made a perfect venue for this casual experience. With the flexibility of the venue's two floors and access to our kitchens, it was easy to go from a formal meeting set-up, to interactive cooking class to a fun stand-up reception. The addition of sound, music and a fully licensed bar appealed to the client's desire to provide a casual and fun atmosphere. It was easy to do everything in the privacy of one location.
Chef Chris Hockley of Artistic Edibles put the whole cooking program together and led this culinary adventure. Chris offers a variety of cooking classes to tantalize every taste bud including, Thai, Cajun, Moroccan and Mexican.
STIR is already taking bookings for holiday parties. Plan ahead and book this private venue for your next event. Contact stir@andlogistix.com or visit our website for more details.
