Just for Laughs Celebrates 25th Anniversary
Just For Laughs, Montreal’s annual comedy festival, is gearing up for its 25th Anniversary celebration this summer. Running from July 12-22, 2007, the Festival is credited for launching the careers of many of the most successful comedians in the industry over its 25 year history. Howie Mandel and Russell Peters are among the performers scheduled to be a part of this year’s festivities. A complete lineup of comedians appearing at the Festival will be announced on May 1, 2007.
The 25th Anniversary All-Star Gala on July 22nd will feature some of the greatest talent that has participated in the festival over the last 25 years. Jerry Seinfeld, Dave Chappelle, Jim Carrey, Tim Allen, Chris Rock, Jon Stewart, Bill Maher, Drew Carey, Jay Leno, Ray Romano, John Cleese, Rowan Atkinson, Lenny Henry and Dane Cook are only some of the comedians that have graced the Just For Laughs stages in the past.
