Canada’s Landmark Event Venue and Attraction Expands Sales Teams

Following an extraordinary year of business developments including a busy roster of special events and growing numbers of international visitors, the CN Tower is pleased to announce the expansion of its Teams serving both Corporate Events and the Leisure Travel clients.

Joining the Sales Department are:

  • Vinita Borrison, Corporate Account Manager is no stranger to corporate events, customer service and tourism. Previously an Account Manager with Carlson Wagonlit Westmore Travel and Jonview Canada Ltd. where she managed a variety of services for a diverse range of clients. Vinita has also worked in advertising in Australia.
  • Mark Kelly, Corporate Account Manager, brings a solid background in customer service and sales to the Tower Team. Having worked for Eco Lab and the Outdoor Television Network in Sales and Territory Management, Mark developed his experience in the world of entertainment and events when he worked with the Ontario Science Center and Ontario Place.

Joining the Corporate Catering and Events Department are:

  • Melissa Whiteley, Event Planner, brings her expertise in detailed event planning and customer service. She was previously with the Grand Hotel & Suites, Toronto Airport Hilton Hotel and Cambridge Suites Hotel.
  • Cathy Hunter, Event Planner, brings to the Tower Team her expertise in detailed event management and execution. She was previously in Catering at the Cambridge Suites Hotel and Account Management/Reservations at Jonview Canada.

“Our new team members bring a diversity of backgrounds that will complement our internal processes and ensure all aspects of an event are considered from creativity and cuisine as well as any and all operational issues,” said Nuan Simonyi, Manager Catering and Events.
