Canadians Win Big at the Gala Awards
The brightest stars in special events took the stage Friday night at Los Angeles' renowned Shrine Auditorium -longtime site of the Academy Awards ceremonies - to accept the coveted Gala Award. Winners in 35 categories were chosen after five rounds of judging by the Special Events Magazine Advisory Board.

Hollywood Doing Their Part to Help Children Who Have Special Needs
20th Century Fox has teamed up with Variety – The Children’s Charity to help raise funds for BC children who have special needs. Starting January 1, Variety will be selling their Gold Heart pins, featuring the design based on the new adventure film from 20th Century Fox - ERAGON. Pins will sell for $3 at various retail outlets across the province.

Like a skilled ski boot fitter, Tourism Whistler has helped create the perfect fit with the announcement that Whistler has been chosen as the location for this year's Adventure Travel World Summit. Working with industry partners and Whistler resort members, Tourism Whistler helped secure the upcoming Summit to be held by the Adventure Travel Trade Association (ATTA) from October 4-6, 2007 at the TELUS Whistler Conference Centre.
