Whistler Children's Art Festival, July 14-15, 2007

The 24th annual Whistler Children's Art Festival brings together emerging and professional artists, artisans and performers to share their skills with Whistler kids and families. The jam-packed two-day festival will be held in Whistler Creekside July 14 and 15, 2007 and will feature fine arts, crafts and performance-based workshops for young people. Among this year's featured events is the Lego Building Competition sponsored by the Whistler Museum, a chocolate rose-making workshop hosted by Rogers Chocolates, and the Caring Kidz Club, which will create magical fairies with funds raised going towards building a school in Kenya.

In addition to many of last year's favourite acts, a number of new entertainers and musicians will grace the Rogers Main Stage on July 14 and 15, including Aché Brasil, Art Napoleon, Circus Fungus, The Kids on the Block, Black Swade, The Blues Berries, Bobs & Lolo Musical Adventures, Ishtar, The Kostaman Trio, Kunaka, Magic Show 2 Go, Rick Scott, Stephen Vogler, Ta Daa Lady and Zany Zack to name a few.
